Day 1 22-June Wonderful Day!

We arrived safely at the KOA campground 18 miles north of Waco. No problems except that I am too tired to think.

I woke up ~ 4 AM today worried about pulling the trailer with our new 4Runner. I logged onto the TrailManor owners forum web site and started researching what other owners of Toyota 4Runners said about towing TrailManor trailers. After reading a few posts I convinced myself that I needed a Weight Distributing Hitch, so earlier today I found a place that had what I needed in stock and between meetings and working on my 2008 budget, I went and had the hitch installed. It worked great. I took a picture of it but we are recharging the battery on the camera now, so I will upload it in the morning.

We left Houston around 4:30 PM. No problems whatsoever. A little rain, but nothing bad.

We just got through eating at a wonderful Greek Restaurant called Yianni’s (www.yiannisrestaurant.com). We had Hummus, Gyro meet, Dolmathes and some other things that I do not know the name of. It was just WONDERFUL food!

I will write more tomorrow after I rest!

Bye for now
